Post 4 "Last day of Class"
Sitting in class on the last day of school. Anxious to get out. I look at the clock, 10 minutes to go. I flick my pen on the desk to distract my brain before the bell rings. The tassels on the AC vent are blowing but it's hot and I'm about to burn up. Sweat rolling down my brow and back. I look at the clock again, hoping that time is almost up but only two minutes went by. I flop my head down in frustration.
I know! I will draw something to burn more time. I pull out a note pad that I rarely used and began drawing doodles of animals and characters that only I can recognize what they are. Ricky, the student next to me started to laugh at my drawings and make fun of them. I never liked Ricky or his Hawaiin shirts he always wore. Ricky continued to mock me and make fun of my doodles. My blood was boiling, and I was mad. Right when I had enough of him the bell rang.
I believe Ricky got very lucky, or otherwise he got saved by the bell, I like the way you used blood boiling to show that the person started to grow angry with him.
ReplyDeleteWaiting on class to end makes everything go slower, especially if you are miserable. Not only that, having someone extremely aggravating adds on to it. Very relatable and good story!
