The older I got the more independent I became, going to high school and excelling in all sports was big for me and made me who I am today. Being dependent, in the story "A good man" the grandmother chose to travel to Florida with her family even after her cautious awareness of the misft killer escaped from prison. Following through with these actions lead to her and her family's death. Going with a gut feeling is always the best way and speaking out for what you think is right.
